Possible Updates!

Hey! Sorry for the inactivity in this group! I've been feeling a little detached from Nombats lately and I've been pretty busy with classes and been spending most of my free time on personal work But now that I've officially started my spring break I thought about maybe refurbishing Nombats a bit to try to rekindle that flame that I once had for it ;v; So I was thinking about trying to update it a bit to make designing nombats more straight forward and maybe make their anatomy a bit more flexible, as well as figuring out how to make being in the group more fun~

So things I've thought about changing:
-Possibly give them traits with different rarities(this would entail making trait charts for things like tails, textures, ears, the usual stuff you see in other specie trait charts basically)

-Maybe change their anatomy so that they aren't so....... stiff? like make them a little skinnier not as round? idk, if I did this I'd probably upload some sketches first of different more experimental anatomical ideas, then get your opinions on it (this would entail remaking their anatomy in the species guide)

-Might start looking for another admin of some kind to help me keep up with adoptables and group events(I would be very picky since I need to know that whoever it is would actually have the time and do the work needed)

-Open myos(probably after I did the trait thing)

-Make the masterlist a separate dA account

-Redecorating the front page(this is very unlikely unless things start to REALLY pick up at some point but I might be willing to make it a super group if it's important to enough people)

-This is by far the most questionable, but I've thought of making nombats into an open species instead of closed, adopts would still cost money and maybe you'd have to pay a small fee for traits that were above common but we'll see, that's a very big iffy idea for me since I'd have to pretty much redo the FAQ and TOS which was hard enough the first time TT3TT


Let me know what you think of these changes! Of course, those of you that have nombats won't have to pay any fees if your nommie has a rare trait already and I won't require you to change anything about them anatomically if you don't want to(it probably wouldn't change enough to warrant much change anyway) ^^

LASTLY:
If I can't manage to reconnect with the species, no worries, I won't close the group or get rid of the species! I would probably sell it to someone trustworthy who could revive it better than I could! That way nombats get the time, love, and appreciation I couldn't give them ;w; And perhaps whoever I'd sell it to could let me stay as co-founder or something so I could still keep an eye out on the species, maybe make some adopts every now and again, but during my busy/unmotivated times the species wouldn't suffer as much because someone else would be there to keep it running(I guess that would be almost like just having an admin though, wouldn't it? idk, nothing is set in stone so we'll see how this goes) u v u
